The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has given a new and easy way of transportation for the people travelling for long KM with in a very short span of time. We would not be wrong if we call the DMRC as a new lifeline of Delhi. DMRC has provided a rich and unique work culture for their employees and successfully empowered by about 7500 employees with  MRTS activities spread over Delhi, NCR & Jaipur etc. Passengers over 2 Million are traveling regularly by the Metro Rail from Delhi and NCR.

Here is a golden opportunity for the Candidates who have appeared and qualified the written examination for Indian Engineering Services Examination conducted by UPSC during  any of the last three years i.e 2009, 2010 & 2011 and have appeared at interview but either unable to get finally selected or have declined the offer given by the UPSC, after selection. So, DMRC has rolled out following vacancies on the Direct recruitment basis for these candidates.

DETAILS OF THE AVAILABLE JOB VACANCIES.

Job Title:  Assistant Manager (Electrical)

Positions Available:  14 Vacancies  (UR – 09 ; OBC – 03 ; SC – 01 ; ST – 01)

Job Title: Assistant Manager (Signal & Telecom)

Positions Available:  09 Openings (UR – 05 ; OBC – 03 ; SC – 01)

Salary Scale : Rs.20600 – 46500 (IDA)

Allowances Details: The Salary Scale and the allowances for the Candidates selected by the Direct recruitment basis will be according to the IDA (Industrial DA) . as applicable on timely basis. Please note that the benefits which include Perks, HRA, Medical benefit, EPF, Gratuity, and Insurance etc. would be as per the extant rules of the Corporation.

Age Criteria for the post : The candidate must be within 28 years of age.  (Relaxation : SC/ST for + 5 yrs, and for  OBC + 03 yrs)

Selection Procedure for the Candidates: The selection process has been structured with in 3 different stages:

-          Paragraph Writing on technical/general topics (2 topics)

-          A  Personal Interview will be taken followed by the Group Discussion

-          Candidate needs to go through the Medical examination in Executive/ Technical Category

IMPORTANT NOTE: The recruitment is on urgent basis so please note that the candidates need to join DMRC immediately after the final selection. The candidate may be posted at any of the Project office of DMRC in Delhi /NCR or anywhere in India.

Application Fee for the above mentioned Posts: The Application Fee for the General & OBC category would be Rs250/- however the fee for the SC/ST Candidates would be Rs. 100/-

The Candidate needs to submit their Application Fee to any of the nearest SBI branch to the specially opened DMRC Account no: 32091518042. Please note that the Fee payment voucher is in Triplicate. The Candidate needs to download the fee payment voucher from the official website of the DMRC.

Procedure to Apply for the above mentioned Posts: Interested candidates needs to register them self through the ONLINE. Once the Candidate gets successfully registered the system will generate a unique Registration No. on a Registration Slip. The Candidate needs to take 2 printout of the Registration slip. Coloured Passport size Photo should be pasted in the given places and properly signed where ever required.

Once the Registration Slip is completed along with the below mentioned documents needs to sent it to the following address by Speed Post :  The Executive Director(HR), 3rd Floor, Metro Bhawan, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi-110001.

Please make sure that the envelope should be properly sealed and super scribed with  a) Name of the post &the post code accordingly. b) Candidates’ Category – UR/OBC/SC/ST

Important Documents needs to be enclosed along with the Registration Slip (Print Out):

i)The  Original copy of the  fee payment receipt received from the DMRC official website after the Fee payment.
ii) Candidates from SC/ST categories must attach an attested copy of their SC/ST certificates with the registration slip. The OBC candidates (central list) are also required to attach with the attested copy of their certificate.
iii) Photocopy of the marks scored in the Written Examination and Interview of IES.(Mark sheet issued by USPC).
iv) The Candidate needs to enclose a Photocopy of the interview call letter received by them.
